It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the Combined Academic Conference of  16th Triennial Congress of the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association and 59th Annual Meeting of Taiwan Orthopaedic Association. The meeting will be held in the beautiful city, Taipei, Taiwan, Nov. 4-7, 2010 at the International Convention Center, National Taiwan University Hospital. This meeting is also hosted Taiwan Orthopaedic Association, Scoliosis Research Society and more.

The theme of the meeting is Asian Pacific Contribution to Orthopaedics. This theme shall reflect our effort since 1962, when our senior surgeons founding the Association. We welcome topics on basic research, spine surgery, trauma, joint reconstruction, sport medicine, bone tumor, osteoporosis, foot and ankle surgery, pediatric surgery, hand surgery, minimally invasive techniques as well as other topics related to orthopaedics. The presentations will include special lectures, symposia, free paper report, workshops and poster session. We expect to have more than 1,000 participants from all over the world in addition to our cherished colleagues from Asian Pacific regions.

In recent years, Taiwan has become popular for its natural estates, fascinating historical background, and furthermore, the delicious foods. We shall also provide you golfing and wonderful shopping experiences in Taiwan. All will become your unforgettable memory in life.

This is our last triennial APOA congress. We believe that with your participation, the 16th Congress will be the most successful academic event.
