Dear APOA Members, Colleagues, and Guests,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I sincerely invite you to attend the Combined Academic Conference of 16th Triennial Congress of the Asia Pacific Orthopedic Association and 59th Annual Meeting of Taiwan Orthopaedic Association. The Congress will be held in Taipei, Taiwan, on November 4-7, 2010. As the October sky in Taipei is usually clear, and weather is comfortable, I would expect the season perfect for the conference. Taipei is geographically easy to access for the visitors, especially from all around the Asian Pacific region. So please do mark the dates on your calendar.
As always, we anticipate an exciting scientific program as the highlight of orthopedic surgery. The theme of the Congress has been set to the "Asian contribution to orthopaedic surgery". We believe that the topics and information on the agenda will be excellent in both clinical and research fields. We hope that investigators and clinicians participating in symposia, special lectures, and workshops can exchange their brilliant ideas and experiences, about the latest advances in musculoskeletal science.
Our Association has been largely expanded since 2001. Thanks for the great contributions from the past presidents and organizers, APOA have become one of the most important medical organizations among the globe. The organizing committee of the Congress will do their best to continue this long tradition to host all of you. We hope to attract delegates from all member countries, and from other continents as well, to make this a truly international event.
The social programs will also be provided to ensure all participants and the accompanying persons to explore and enjoy the warmth and tradition of this beautiful island of Formosa.
